Soar from one breathtaking overlook to the next, high above the Breaks Canyon—famously known as the “Grand Canyon of the South.” Join our expert guides for a heart-pounding zipline adventure that traces the dramatic edge of this awe-inspiring Appalachian gorge.
Carved over millennia by the wild Russell Fork River, the Breaks Canyon plunges to depths of over 1,000 feet, cutting through the rugged spine of Pine Mountain. This unforgettable experience offers panoramic views of one of the most spectacular and remote landscapes in the eastern United States.
All trips will meet at the Canyon Rim Zipline Office, located behind the Dogwood Lodge. Guests are able to make reservations on our website or by calling our front desk at (276) 865-4413.
Trips are $50.00 per person

📝 Waivers & Check-In
All participants must sign a liability waiver before the tour begins.
Minors (under 18) must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Arrive on time for check-in and orientation. Late arrivals may miss their tour and are not guaranteed a refund.
⚖️ Weight Requirements
Participants must weigh between 75 and 250 pounds.
Weight will be verified on-site using an electronic scale during check-in.
Guests outside this range will not be permitted to participate.
🧗 Physical & Health Requirements
Guests must be physically able to:
Climb a ladder
Navigate short, steep, and rocky trails
Ziplining is not permitted for:
Pregnant individuals
Guests with serious heart, back, neck, or joint conditions
Guests with medical concerns (e.g., asthma, seizures, severe allergies) should:
Bring necessary medications (inhalers, EpiPens, etc.)
Inform your guide at check-in
👟 What to Wear
Closed-toe shoes are required – no sandals, flip-flops, or open footwear.
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor activity. Shirts and pants/shorts are required.
Long hair must be tied back securely.
Dress in layers or bring a rain jacket if rain or cooler weather is expected.
🌦️ Weather Policy
Tours run in light rain and moderate wind.
In the event of thunder, lightning, or high winds, trips may be postponed or canceled for safety.
If your tour is canceled due to weather, you’ll be offered the choice to reschedule or receive a full refund.
🚫 Behavior & Conduct
Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate.
Unsafe, reckless, or non-compliant behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
All guests must follow guide instructions at all times.
🎒 What to Bring
Government-issued ID
Sunscreen, bug spray

Optional: gloves with grip, small waist pack
