Fishing on The Fork

““There the bass leaps from rushing waters, and there, as nowhere else this side of the Rockies, is the face of nature wild and shy . . .””
It was on a fishing trip in 1900 that the author John Fox Jr. brought the Breaks canyon to the American public when he wrote about his adventure in Scribner’s magazine. We’re happy to say that the bass, 122 years later, are still leaping from rushing waters in the Breaks Canyon. And quite a few trout too.
